About Me
My interest in blacksmithing dates back to early in my high school career, sometime in 2013-14. I spent a lot of time studying in my spare time and learning some of the basics of forge anatomy, metal temperering theory and focusing on learning how to read and draw blueprints. I shifted to some other trades after graduation which allowed me to further expand my knowledge and allow me to develop my skills. Some of these trades include but not limited to, maintenance in tool and die field, landscape laborer with masonry work and owner operator of landscaping company.
While I had spare time I would tinker with things. That or friends would come to me and ask if I could fix something for them. I had become the "hand made" and often would have to incorporate my own handmade tools or parts sometimes to fix something. Often times no I didn't need a forge to make them but, there would be times where I would be in need of a torch and my anvil and hammer. Which I felt was cheating in my option. That or I would just use my campfire pit and tinker around with but that wasn't as efficient as an actual forge like what I have now.
Smoldering Anvil
Unofficially founded in February 2024. Dedicated to providing quality handmade items, guides and blueprints to consumers alike.
My primary role as of now in Smoldering Anvil is establishing a solid foundation of credibility and customer base in our guides and blueprints. We will share some of our handmade products as they come up. Starting with some of the beginner projects for people to get into the trade is what we will launch first in our store. Then launching more advanced guides and prints later on for others to enjoy will be in the works as well.
I have not been asked as of yet about my friends and family involved with Smoldering Anvil, if they are being compensated in any way or of the matter. I can not disclose those matters however, those curious will see any accreditation towards any involvement will be shared in any guides none the less.
