Smoldering Anvil was "unofficially" established in the winter of 2024, driven by the necessity to create and design tools for specific tasks. This demand sparked the initial efforts to address those needs. It was only when the individual recognized the potential of this endeavor that Smoldering Anvil truly came to life. Additionally, Smoldering Anvil is a connected network of friends and family from various trades who contribute collectively. Currently, it operates as a hobby, but if it scales up, it will be exciting to see where it progresses. This journey is rooted in over a decade of experimentation, extensive research, and learning through observation. Ultimately, the path to improvement lies in hands-on experience, forging metal, and learning from errors. The aspiration to become a blacksmith has long been a shared passion among friends. Witnessing the planning and realization of this dream—albeit on a small scale—is truly rewarding. While we aim to acquire a foundry and explore jewelry metalsmithing in the future, our immediate goal is to get the forge operational and work with hot iron and steel.
